When you select this option you get a 15% discount on the item and free shipping. Amazon also has coupons on their site. When you combine a sale, coupon, 15% off discount and free shipping you can score some really great deals. After your item has shipped you need to go back into your Amazon account and cancel your subscription. If you do not cancel the subscription the item will be sent to you again at whatever price it is selling for at the time. I set my subscriptions to 6 months each time. That way I have more time to cancel my subscription.
